Lodge overview

The Kalahari is a desert like no other, an ancient land of semi-arid savannah that seems to stretch forever, filled with a rich diversity of life. This is the ancestral homeland of Africa's First People - the San Bushmen - whose fascinating culture permeates everything in this incredible destination.

Feline Fields Lodge sits in the northern reaches of the Kalahari, to the west of the Okavango Delta, not far from the border with neighbouring Namibia. Completely off-grid, using state-of-the-art solar technology, it's a retreat in every sense of the word, offering a range of activities from desert biking, game drives and horse riding to guided walks, tennis and even golf practice!

However, it's the authentic interaction and involvement with the nearby San communities that really sets Feline Fields Lodge apart. Guests get to enjoy fireside storytelling and walks in the Kalahari with the Bushmen, as well as visits to local villages and the chance to witness genuine mystical and spiritual trance dances.
